What to do…
Fire
- Check that there are no people in the hazardous area; if so, try to save them
- Inform the fire brigade about other people in the burning building
- Extinguish the fire with available means
- Take measures to prevent the spread of fire (shut-off the gas supply, switch the electricity off, close the door, remove flammable liquids)
- Do not ventilate the area that is on fire; air supply increases burning
- Warn others by shouting: ‘Fire!’
- Call the emergency number 150 or 112
